The Sisterhood! So important to have our community of women, this solidarity of women based on shared conditions, experiences, or concerns. When you are in your community, the sisterhood is palpable. Sisterhood is a bond shared and is more than shared lipsticks or high heeled shoes. The strategy, the luck, and using your brain all fit in forming our sisterhoods. The women's movement developed generations of strong women. We are comfortable in our own skins, we don't put up with nonsense... together, we have an amazing sisterhood. A sisterhood which creates real progress in our visibility and statue. My painting expressed the unspoken love and commitment to each other, to support, encourage and create together a power greater than each of us alone.
